ABOUT ME

Before I became a teacher, I was an artist.  The arts consumed my free time. My inspiration to become a teacher came from my own art educators; the people who fueled my passion for writing, acting, and creating.  So I became a teacher to give that to my students.

I believe the arts are fundamental to not only education, but our own mental well-being as humans.  Expression through art can take many forms, and I have seen students who believe they are not artistic fall in love with creating amazing works of art.  My passion is finding the hidden talents in my student, be that written, theatric, or artistic.
