Book binding

I taught myself bookbinding, when my journal collection started to get a bit out of hand. I started using old hardcover books I would get at thrift stores or garage sales. I loved using found materials, like cards and ticket stubs that often collected dust in a box.

Teaching book binding was the obvious continuation, and I have taught this method to junior high students, high school students, and adults. I have adapted it for younger students as well. It is one of the most rewarding projects, and student take great pride in their creations.
